Well, I am not a food blogger and normally even I have eaten some nice food or lousy food, I won't border to write because I am too lazy to write anything about it...
Well, today, I will blog about the LaLa Cheong, it is not because they have served excellent food that I must share about it, but rather, I have a good dinner with my friends.
Lala Cheong is a seafood restaurant and it was originally from the famous seafood areas near Subang Airport. But due to the main airport moved to KLIA, many seafood restaurants shifted to other places. Currently, I understand that Lala Cheong have two places, if you want to know where they are, just search in Google Map. The one I had is at the Ara Damansara - Jalan Cempaka.
The taste of the food are quite nice.... Some food blog recommend some famous crab dishes, so we ordered the sweet and spicy crab (with bread) and also the salted egg crab.
They have one famous dish called 雪山飞狐 (it is actually a name of a Kung Fu famous novel, if direct translation means Snow Mountain Flying Fox), If you asked me how is it related to a fish dish, I have no ideas ? The Fish was hard coated with a layer of salt and send for baking, so the skin become hard and very salty, you need to peep off the skin and eat the meat only. It is quite tasty and the salt bring out the delicious fish taste, I think it is one of the must order dish there ...
Another dish I like is the dark sauce honey coated squids .... By just looking, you saliva coming out liao ...
Actually, It is no good to eat too much of meats, God made man by giving flat teeth, instead of sharp teeth because He expects us to eat more vegetable. Look at the teeth of cow and compare with the teeth of a tiger ... it is obvious we are vegetable eater and not meat eater. No wonder our health affected if we eat too much of meats .... But we human being love meat because we really cook many damned delicious meat dishes ...
Ah!~ don't care, eat first :)
Well, the vegetables dishes in Lala Cheong are not bad ... look nice and delicious, isn't it ?
Oh ... I almost missed out a photo ... it is the signature dish of Lala Cheong, why ?
Because the name of the restaurant is name after Lala shell (I think it is called Spisula aequilatera or triangle shell) - the famous dish called Siong Dong Lala .... it is a yummy rich and tick soup with rice wine taste.
